Mud cloth is hand dyed in Mali, West Africa with mud so it should not be washed in a washing machine too often. It’s like most other natural dyes, as you wash them they fade.
We recommend spot cleaning when and where necessary but in absolute need they can be put in the washing machine on cold with very little soap! Hand wash, or dry clean. No Bleach.
