HOW TO USE
Use Daily – Morning & Evening
1. Place 5 – 6 drops of Kakadu Plum Active Renewal Oil in the palm of your hands
2. Quickly rub together to further activate.
3. Using both hands, press and push into the face, neck and décolleté for 30 seconds for maximum benefit
Can be used after cleansing with DRAGON FRUIT SEED BALM TO MILK CLEANSER and/or BLUE ALGAE SILK CLEANSING/EXFOLIATOR POWDER morning and evening
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
BAKUCHIOL
Buh-koo-chee-all, derived from the seeds and leaves of the babchi plant, has been used for decades. A potent plant derived skincare ingredient to help promote good skin, well ageing skin. Hailed as a natural form of retinol – boasting skin benefits such as – improving the elasticity, firmness and hydration. Like retinol, bakuchiol is known to even out textured skin tones, minimise the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores, add plumpness and impart a surge of brightness to duller skin types. Essentially, bakuchiol poses the same as retinol but without the main negatives, such as irritation and redness.
VITAMIN C – Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is form of Vitamin C which has been modified to be solvable in oils. As such, it can penetrate the upper layer and deepest layers of our skin for enhanced effectiveness and skin brightening, visibly improving hyperpigmentation
CoQ10
Coenzyme Q10 (COQ10) is a compound that’s naturally present in our skin, one that energizes skin cells. Energy is needed to repair damage and make sure the skin cells are healthy. Active skin cells get rid of toxins easily and can make better use of nutrients. When your skin ages, all these processes slow down as Q10 levels drop leading to visible signs of ageing – causing dull and sallow, wrinkled skin. CoQ10 works similarly to another powerhouse ingredient Vitamin C producing more benefits when working in synergy
RICE BRAN EXTRACT
Oryza sativa (rice) bran extract is a plant ingredient used in cosmetics to condition and soften skin. The bran also contains moisturising ingredients such as omega-3 fatty acids.
KAKADU PLUM OIL & EXTRACT
Recognised as a superfruit, the Kakadu Plum contains the highest concentration of Vitamin C of most fruits (about 100 times higher than oranges). The extract contains a healthy dose of Phenolic Acid (that acts like an AHA), which enhances the antioxidant content, exfoliates and brightens the skin.
Also rich in flavone glycosides, phytochemicals like gallic and ellagic acids. Gallic acid contains antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory. These properties help repair damaged skin and restore elasticity working alongside vitamin c to stabilise and intensify it effects. These ingredients work together to replenish and stabilise the skin’s natural levels of vitamin C, resulting in young, supple and healthy skin
