How to refill your candle
Choose your vessel
Choose a heat-resistant vessel that won’t leak, crack, or catch fire. Approx 6.6cm – 7.6cm wide. Add additional wicks for wider vessels.
Prepare your vessel
Peel paper tab from wick and centre in vessel and thread wick through wick holder.
Melt and Pour
Microwave open pouch upright for 1.5 mins – 2.5, or place open pouch upright in a pot of boiling water for up to 10 mins max to melt wax. Pour melted wax into prepared vessel.
Leave to set
Leave to set for 3 hours. Remove wick holder and trim wick to 1/4″ above the wax. Light and enjoy
Pouch can be disposed of in a home or industrial compost facility. Bag is certified to biodegrade within 180 days in an industrial compost facility but home compost biodegradation time may vary depending on conditions.
Shipping materials can be recycled along with your other paper based items as part of normal recycling.
Candle Care
Trim the wick at least ¼ inch prior to every burn for a clean and even burn.
Timing is everything. When lighting for the first time, burn the candle for at least 2–4 hours until wax melts across the entire surface up to the edge of the vessel as this will prevent tunneling, and create an even burn for the duration of the candle’s life. It will make your candle last longer and helps maximize scent throw. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time
When not in use, it is best to store candles upright in a cool place, away from direct sunlight. This will preserve its scent and keep it from melting. You may opt to store your candle with the lid on it to keep dust out, or without a lid to get some benefit from the cold throw (unlit scent movement).
Make sure there aren’t any drafts near your lit candle. This will help prevent rapid or uneven burning, sooting and excessive dripping
Always burn your candle on a fire safe surface. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc. Keep hair and loose clothing away from the flame
Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Do not place lit candles where they can be knocked over by children, pets, or anyone else.
Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping. If you are going to leave the room or go to bed, make sure the candle is completely out and the wick is no longer glowing
Never touch or move a burning candle or while the wax is liquified.
Place burning candles at least three inches apart from one another. This is to make sure they don’t melt one another or create their own drafts that will cause the candles to burn improperly
Do not use water to extinguish a candle, this can cause the hot wax to splatter and could break a glass container.
Know when it’s time to say goodbye. Do not relight when 5-10mm of wax remains. Clean your vessel to prepare it for its next use and new life.
Method 1
Simply put your glass in the freezer for at least four hours. Use a butter knife to gently pry out the remaining wax and wick. Wipe off any remaining residue with wet paper towel before washing it clean. Or
Method 2
Simply pour boiling water directly into your container with leftover wax. Wait approximately 30 minutes or until the wax is lifted and cooled on the surface. Dispose of the wax properly before washing it clean.
Never pour melted wax or water with wax residue down the drain to prevent clogging the pipe.

Before cleaning the vessels, peel off any labels from the jar removing any remaining residue with hot soapy water. Take care while removing the wax because we don’t want you to hurt yourself by breaking the glass.
