Another judge said: ‘the sauce has a glorious deep orange colour with plenty of texture… on tasting it is vibrant and exciting and very savoury… It is well rounded but then, has a soothing but warming kick at the end.’
This is a chilli flavour like you’ve not had before. It is a classic Western Cameroonian chilli often served raw, but it tastes mellower cooked. Use sparingly, can be very fiery, mind your tongue. Totally plant-based, completly fresh and contains NO vinegar. ZERO chemicals.
One of the ingredients is cultivated in the rainforest, a nut very much loved in Cameroon and used in many dishes for its medicinal purposes. In the UK it called AKPI or Djansang and found in Cameroonian communities shops. Goes with everything that needs a fiery kick.
