Directions: Apply 2-3 drops directly onto the effected areas. For the face, massage in circular movements. For the hair, run through damp tips or apply all over for a weekly hair mask.
The Baobab tree lives for thousands of years and is renowned in African traditions and folklore for preserving the history of the land and for its beneficial properties.
Extracted from the seeds of the baobab fruit, this Baobab oil is unrefined (not mixed with anything and not blended or thinned), beautiful golden yellow in colour with a slightly nutty sent. Baobab oil is highly penetrating, deeply nourishing and softens dry skin. It is known to restore and moisturize the epidermis. Baobab oil can relieve the effects of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and can be applied neat.
This unrefined Baobab oil is high in vitamins A, C, D and E. Vitamin C is vital in the formation of collagen – the tissue which gives skin its firmness – as well as having the powerful antioxidant properties which neutralize free radicals. Vitamin A stimulates and increases the deposition of collagen and supports elastin (which gives skin its elasticity), Vitamin D promotes the skin’s barrier against foreign microbes and Vitamin E, like C, contains powerful antioxidants.
Many high end commercial products now use Baobab oil. Baobab oil is a very stable oil.
